The Ultimate Rewards Credit Card
A Rewards Credit Card That May Put The Others To Shame
How would you like a rewards credit card that doesn’t just offer you a points program, but has no limit as to how many points you can accrue? What if that rewards credit card allowed you to redeem those points at your choice of over 50 establishments or even transfer those points to your favorite frequent flyer miles program? Better yet, these points have no expiration and we haven’t even mentioned half the benefits this rewards credit card has to offer. Oh, and did we mention that the card has no credit limit? If you think a rewards credit card like this is just a fable, read on.
American Express Preferred Gold Rewards Card
American Express has been providing credit cards for quite some time now and an American Express credit card is one of the most prestigious credit cards you can carry in your wallet. Now the American Express Preferred Gold Rewards credit card brings you an abundance of new reasons to apply for an American Express Card.
Free Shipping For Online Purchases
In addition to getting points, if you use your American Express Preferred Gold Card to make purchases from participating online retailers, your shipping charges are waived. Considering shipping usually starts at six dollars a purchase and goes up from there, this can save you quite a bit of money over the course of a year.
Gold Card Events
As if the points program and the free shipping program weren’t enough, this rewards credit card also offers cardholders access to tickets for a number of concerts, shows and sporting events before the tickets become available for sale to the public. Tired of waiting in ridiculous lines for the tickets you want? This is the rewards credit card for you.
Loaded With Features and Benefits
In addition to the benefits we’ve already covered, this rewards credit card also offers cardholders a best value guarantee, fraud protection guarantee, return protection, a buyer’s assurance plan, a purchase protection plan and a variety of travel services. Who could ask for more?
Annual Fee
While the annual fee for this credit card is $90 a year, that is a small price to pay for so many benefits and right now the first year’s fee is being waived. Now is the perfect time to apply for this rewards credit card.
If you’d like to access all of the benefits and features this rewards credit card has to offer, visit this rewards credit cards website. The American Express Preferred Gold Card can be found about halfway down the page.
Comments
One would have to order alot online to pay more than $90 in shipping for this card to be worth the annual fee. If you buy concert tickets before they go on sale to the general public, then you're buying them online and so you are not waiting in line to buy tickets. So the $90 is buying insurance for the non purchased items. For me the main reason to not have or use an American Express Card of any kind is that the company heavily supports Planned Parenthood who promotes abortion which is nothing less than murder!

Well, I no longer have an AMEX card, as I had a bad experience with them. However, I have what I consider to be an EXCELLENT reward card. It's with AAA. They give you 5% back on ALL gasoline purchases. You do NOT have to build up your purchases to a certain amount. You do NOT have to write to them to request your money. You get it automatically, ON YOUR NEXT MONTH'S STATEMENT. They do have one requirement. You MUST use the card for other purchases besides gas, or they'll cut your discount. That seems fair to me!

I have had an Americal Express Gold Card since 1978. Apparently there are no rewards for existing members. I very seldom use my Gold Card card except sometimes at Costco where I normally us my AMEX/Hilton card so I may receive points in Hilton's frequent traveler program. At $90 per year I am seriously thinking of dropping the Gold Card

We have used an AE card of some kind for decades. Several years ago we switched to an AE Platinum card. American Express has always gone above and beyond. Our one regret is that AE has no agreement w/ American Airlines. Having moved from a Continental hub to an AA, it's disasterous!

The American Express Preferred Gold Rewards Card isn't bad, but I'm a bigger fan of the AmEx *Blue Cash* card. After $6500 in YTD spending, it pays 5% back on gas/groceries/drugs and 1.5% back on everything else. (Up to $6500 it pays 1% on gas/groceries/drugs and 0.5% on other spending).
You can quickly calculate and see what you'd earn in rewards from the leading AmEx rewards cards (and rewards cards from Chase, Citi, etc.) using the rewards calculator at Credit Card Tune-Up: Maximize Your Rewards ( www.creditcardtuneup.com ).
