A Sweeter Take on a Personalized Credit Card

The Personalized Credit Card for Dog Lovers

Last week we talked about a personalized credit card for fans of the MINI car. For those who like the softer things in life, how about a personalized credit card with a picture of your furry friend? Bank of America is offering a credit card that you can personalize with a picture of your pet, but that’s not the only great thing about this personalized credit card.

A Picture Speaks a Thousand Words

If you love your pet as much as a child, you probably like the idea of a personalized credit card featuring a photo of your animal friend. Even if you don’t have your own pet but you’re an avid dog lover, you can choose from one of the three stock photos offered for this personalized credit card as well.

Fabulous Features

This personalized credit card is definitely cute, but that’s just where the benefits begin. In addition to an adorable look, the Pet Rewards personalized credit card offers two points for every dollar spent at participating vets and pet stores, one point for every dollar spent on other purchases, and five-hundred bonus points on the first purchase you make. The points you earn with the personalized credit card can then be redeemed for great rewards like discounted veterinary services, discount certificates for Hill’s products likes Science Diet and Prescription Diet, and donations to nonprofit animal charities.

As if the rewards program wasn’t incentive enough, this personalized credit card also offers a zero-percent introductory interest rate on purchases and balance transfers for the first six months and a wealth of security features such as fraudulent charge reimbursement, fraud monitoring and password protection options for online purchases.

It’s important to note that the zero-percent introductory rate of the personalized credit card will go up at the end of the six month period, if you default in any way or if you close the account. Exactly how much the interest rate goes up will depend on your specific credit history. It’s also important to note that cash advances are billed at an interest rate of over twenty-three percent with a three-percent fee. So while this personalized credit card is awesome for purchases, it’s probably not a good idea to take a cash advance on it.

If this personalized credit card sounds perfect for you, apply for it at this rewards credit cards website. You’ll find this particular card at the bottom of the page.
